Many people see Google Adsense as an easy way to make money on the internet. At the same time hordes of internet marketing gurus implore us to buy their easy Adsense systems so that we too can sky rocket out profits and spend most of our time hanging out on sunny beaches with beautiful people while we struggle to carry our hugh wallets stuffed with gold and diamonds.
But is it really that easy to make money with Adsense? After all we are told that all we need is a website with some content and we too can be adsense millionaires while we sleep! The reality is that in the long distant Adsense past it was possible to make a reasonable amount of money easily, but those days are long gone. So beware of anyone pedalling their “auto-pilot Adsense riches system.” They sound too good to be true and they are too good to be true. However with the right approach it is possible to make good money with Adsense. There are many such approaches that practical marketeers have found to work and this article outlines one approach that works.
This approach has three main ingredients:
- first you need a proven way to quickly build a niche website that is Adsense friendly
- second you need to provide good quality unique content that people will be interested in
- third you need a proven way to drive traffic to your website
Lets look at each of these in turn.
Create a Niche Adsense Website
Whats the best way to create a niche Adsense website? Many people fall into the trap of using one of the many mass market templates which are heavily romoted by the current crop of internet marketing gurus. These templates look
tempting but they all have two main problems:
Difficult to customise
First they can be difficult to customise to your needs. This is usually because the creators of the templates ssumed that you would be an expert web designer and have all the expensive software you need sitting in your hard drive!
They are not unique
The second problem, and this is probably the biggest issue, is that these templates are not unique so when a web surfer visits your website they will think to themselves: “I’ve seen this sort of website before,” and immeadiately hit the back button.
A better way to approach creating niche websites is to use a template that is easily customisable and does not need extensive graphic design skills to be customisable. A good approach that works very well is to only use photos for graphics, and CSS or cascading styler sheets for changes in color, fonts and the overall look of your website. CSS is not at all hard to learn and he availability of CSS editors makes it even easier.
Provide Unique Content for Your Visitors
Unique content is important as it draws a visitors attention and they can easily see that your website is not just out to rip them off. Some people try to cheat and use contentspinners that crete thousands of pages in minutes. Google knows how to spot these pagesand will ban the sites instantly. Plus todays surfers can spotthese sites a mile off and they will hit the back button quick as a flash.
Unique content is important for many reasons. Here are four of the top reasons:
- it gives your visitors a reason to keep coming back to your site
- unique quality content is more linkly to get you links
- people will talk about your content and you will get more visitors
- uniqueness, quality and relevance are more important to Google than ever
The more relevant and unique your content is the more likely it is that visitors will look at your ads favourably and click them - because they are relevant.
Promote Your Niche Adsense Website
Finally we meed a way to get visitors to our sites. It should come as no surprise that I am recommending article marketing as far and away the best approach to marketing niche websites. Article Marketing has proven time and time again to be a fantastic way]to get visitors to yourwebsites and with niche websiets it is no different. The key is to produce useful articles that provide information that people can use in their day to day life and business.
